Ann (Pendleton) Brown was born on November 12, 1667 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Captain James Pendleton and Hannah Goodenow. [1]She was buried under the name of Ann Brown listed as age 60 and while that would put her birth year at 1733 the Dover/Portsmouth records record her actual birth date. There is no month on the gravestone for her birth or death, only a year for her birth which is not correct. [2][3][4]. She is mentioned in the History of the Walter Palmer family with her husband Eleazer Brown and their 10 children.[5]
