Mary (Pengilly) Ward was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Mary Jane Pengilly was born on 2th April 1860 to William Pengilly (Pengilly-6) and Alice Gill Trengove (Trengrove-4) at Mudla Wirra, South Australia. She is the 4th of their 15 children. On 25th August 1881, she married George Henry Ward at her Parent's property in Redhill. Together, they had 4 children. On the 3rd February 1937 she passed away, at either a hospital or nursing home in Parkside. She was buried at Koolunga Cemetery with her husband, George
