Of course the two profiles did not match, Pennell-203 was turned into a completely different person by the profiles manager.

Pennell-203 and Pennell-157 do not represent the same person because: Not same person.
Pennell-203 and Pennell-157 appear to represent the same person because: same parents, per mothers' profiles, same married name once all merges are completed.

Hi, There are inconsistent dates in this profile summary. It says that she married after she died.

Pennell-227 Unmerged match.

These are certainly the same person, same birth and parents.

However there are several spelling variations, so the lowest numbered profile of the correct spelling of the last name at birth will be the target profile for all duplicates. Please see http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project_protecting_and_merging#Background:_The_multiple_redirects_problem

Merges can be proposed once this target profile is identified. Thanks
