Ezekiel was born in 1848 in Alabama.^[1] In the 1870 Census, it shows he was born in 1850, if this is the correct Ezekiel.

Death

1850 Census. Isabella was living in Fayette, Alabama along with her spouse, William, and six of their children. William was 63 and was b. in North Carolina and Isabella was 50 and was born in South Carolina. The children were: Rachel Pennington, age 22 and born in South Carolina, John Pennington, age 17 and born in Alabama; Laticia, age 15 b. in Alabama; Isaac, age 12 born in Alabama, Tempa, age 9 born in Alabama; and Ezekiel, age 2 born in Alabama.^[2]

1860 Census. Ezekiel was living in Western Division of Fayette, Alabama with his father, William, and mother, Isabelle and five siblings.^[3]

1870 Census. Ezekiel was living in Mississippi with James and Sohronia Petty.^[4]

Note: In this Census it shows that Ezekiel was 20 which would have put his birth year in1850. This would also coincide with his children Boydie, Cas and Ray all being born in Mississippi.

1920 Census. Ezekiel was living with his spouse, Susie and three of their children. Ezekiel was 62 and Susie was 49. They were born in Alabama. The children were: Boydie age 22; Cas age 18 and Ray age 15. The children were all born in Mississippi.^[5]

1920 Census. Ezekiel Pennington was living in Magnolia, Webster, Mississippi with his spouse, Susie. He was 62 and she was 49, both were both in Alabama. His daughter, Boydie (sp) was also living with them. She was 22 and born in Mississippi.^[6]
