Biography

Elizabeth (Pennington) Ellison lived in Appalachia, in Kentucky.

When Elizabeth Polly Pennington was born in 1775 in Albemarle County, Virginia, her parents were William Pennington and Elizabeth Wheeler. .

Elizabeth married Asa Ellison in 1805 in Monroe, West Virginia, United States. Shortly after his first wife passed away.[1]

In the 1830 census Elizabeth was in Whitley, Kentucky.[2]

In the 1840 census Elizabeth was in Whitley, Kentucky.[3]

In the 1850 census Elisabeth (age 75) was in Whitley, Kentucky, United States.[4]

Elizabeth was mentioned on a memorial in Wolf Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Whitley County, Kentucky, USA with a death date of 1861.[5]
