The inventory of his estate was taken on May 18, 1630, with his son-in-law, Samuel Chapin, being one of four men who took the inventory. [2]

Recently a source was added to Amercan Ancestors that shows a Henry Penny with father Wm. Penny, christening place Chalk, Wiltshire, England.

I have a membership at NEHGS, so I see the source; however I'm still wondering how we know this is the same Henry Penny who was a baker at Paignton in Devonshire?

I see a birth of a Henry Penny in 1571 and a baptism on December 12, 1571 with a father William Penny, but that occurred at Broad Chalk, Wiltshire - not Paignton in Devonshire.

So how do we know that is the correct Henry Penny?

Please show a source for William Penny and Mary (Lewis) Penny as the parents of Henry Penny. I can find none.

If these parents are not sourced, they need to be disconnected with a notation and placed in the biography. If a source is found in the future they can be reconnected.
