Maria Pepper is said to be the sister of Philonia Pepper, who married Nelson Haskell. [1] They would then both be the daughters of Stephen and Sarah Haskell of Ware, Massachusetts, Maria being born there on July 29, 1797. [2]
She married Thomas Haskell at Oakham, Massachusetts on April 2, 1821. [3] Thomas Haskell, was the son of Simeon and Ruth (Haskell) Haskell and was born at North Brookfield, Massachusetts on February 2, 1796. [1][4]
Maria died at South Hadley, Massachusetts on April 13, 1856.[5]
Thomas died on October 19, 1867 at Oakham, Massachusetts. [4]
