Death of Mrs S. Goodacre. — We announce with regret the death of Mrs. Goodacre, wife of Mr. Samuel Goodacre, which occurred on the 17th inst. at Diseworth. Mr. and Mrs. Goodacre many years resided in Shepshed, but for the last few years at Diseworth. Deceased was 79 years of age. The funeral took place on Thursday. Last year Mr. and Mrs. Goodacre had the rare privilege of celebrating their golden wedding. Leicester Chronicle - Saturday 29 December 1894^[5] Ann's death (age 79) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1894 in the Shardlow district.^[6]
