Thomas Edmund Pepper was born in New South Wales in 1850. He is the son of Rachel Aldous[1] and John Pepper.[2]

In 1902 Thomas deserted Sarah and their family. He is purported to have lived in Victoria for 20 yrs prior to his death in 1922 and having married MARY ANN COWARD in NSW prior to moving to Vic. A marriage certificate to Mary has not been located as yet.
