Biography
Alfred Alfonso Pepper was born in 1878. He was the son of Samuel Nelson Pepper and Annie McDonald. His siblings were Rebecca Eve JOHNSON (born PEPPER), Emma Edith CONDIE (born PEPPER), Samuel George PEPPER, John Hubert PEPPER, Samuel PEPPER.
Alfred went to the Richmond district for farm work. He died by suicide at the Alstonville farm of his uncle James McAndrew in April 1904. He had been unwell for some time, and had been suffering from pain in his head and body, and was unable to eat.[1][2][3][4]

names him as the son of Samuel Pepper of Worrigee, deceased, and says his mother is still living.
