Thomas Pepper was born on 23 Mar 1828 in Hyson Green Nottinghamshire England, son of John Pepper (~1790 - 1876) and Elizabeth (Davey) Pepper (1788 - 1875).

Thomas married Sarah Mason (~1834 - ) in 1850 in Nottinghamshire, England. Their son was Fred Mason Pepper (1874 - 1933).

In the 1891 census Thomas (age 63) was the married head of household in Bradford St James, Yorkshire, England.[1].
