I have lots of autosomal matches to Pepper descendants even at my extended distance but at the moment without precise chromosome segment matching can't say if that's proof. Ancestry needs to get on the ball and provide that data so we can start segment triangulation and matching. LH

please remember upon merging with Pepper-55, that the death date of 26 sep 1949 is PROBABLY not correct. That date belongs to a different Ann Pepper.

In Pepper-55 there's a "before 1836" based on documentation, so I think that's the date you should keep.

Pepper-249 and Pepper-55 appear to represent the same person because: this is a clear duplicate, please merge so there are not 2 of the same person in the tree!

Pepper-249 and Pepper-55 are not ready to be merged because: Please note that while I DO think 249 and 55 are duplicates and should be merged, I cannot confirm that the more exact date of death is accurate. There is at least one other "Ann Pepper" in the same time period that is NOT a positive match, and she's listed with the same date of death.

Her death is estimated as "Before 1836" based on ref #3 Membership Application of Robert Charles Wilson, no. 77124, "U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889-1970

Not sure we should incorporate the date of death as part of themerge.
