Biography

Birth

Born: Say 1000.
Rough estimate based on his appearance in charters in the 1020s, and the birth of his younger son Fulk IV circa 1042. His mother's first husband was still living in 991, but probably dead by 997.

Marriage and Children

Married: Béatrix, daughter of Aubry II, count of Mâcon, and widow of Geoffroy (II), count of Gâtianis after 991 when her first husband is last known to have been living with certainty.

Counte-1 and Perche-31 do not represent the same person because: I'm still trying to work out who Counte-1 is meant to be, but I think he is not the same as Perche-31

Counte-1 and Perche-31 appear to represent the same person because: Montfort-11 cannot be his mother as she is born after Geoffrey. Montfort-11 married his son Fulk IV

Geoffrey de Gâtinais and Geoffrey de Bretagne are not the same people. Geoffrey de Bretagne was the son of Conan de Bretagne and an Ermengrade d'Anjou. Geoffrey de Gâtinais was the son of Hugues Perche and Beatrice Macon and married an Ermengarde d'Anjou, but the Ermengardes are not the same women.

Not sure why he's called Aubri-Geoffrey--can't find anything about that in FMG, except that this genealogy is exceptionally complex. . .

Together, Geoffrey and Ermengarde had:

Hildegarde de Château-Landon[2] Geoffrey III (1040 - 1096)[2][4] Fulk IV (1043 - 1109)[2][4]

Geoffrey II, de Château-Landon ( -1043/6) was the Count of Gâtinais.[1][2] He was traditionally viewed as son of Geoffrey, Count of Gâtinais by Beatrice of Macon, the daughter of Aubry II of Mâcon,[3] but recent research has suggested the alternative that he was son by another husband of Beatrice, Hugh of Perche. About 1035 he married Ermengarde of Anjou, Duchess of Burgundy, daughter of Fulk III, Count of Anjou.[2][4]. After Geoffrey's death she married secondly Robert I, Duke of Burgundy.[1]

Is Beatrice Macon his mother or wife?
