Biography

Father Geoffrey, Count of Perche, Seigneur de Mortaigne d. Oct 1100

Mother Beatrice de Ramerupt (Roucy} d. a 1129[1]

Margaret de Perche married Henry de Beaumont de Newburgh, 1st Earl Warwick, son of Roger de Beaumont, Seigneur de Pont Audemer, Brionne, la Haye-Aubrée, Sahuz, Tourville, & Vieilles and Adeline de Meulan, before 1100.[2] [3]

Margaret de Perche died after 1156. A date is confirmed by the necrology of the church of Evreux, where she is buried, which records the death "27 Aug" of "Margarita mater Rotrodi episcopi" mother to Rotrou de Beaumont, Bishop of Evreux. He, Rotrou, became Archbishop of Rouen, c. 1165 suggesting her she died between 1156 and 1165.
