Biography

Of unknown parentage, Jemima King was born in Kentucky around 1813. She married William Breedlove of Pittsvylvania County, Virginia, marrying, most likely, in Kentucky on December 18, 1827[citation needed] and having two known children together:

  1. Thomas Breedlove (1828-1886)
  2. William Riley Breedlove (1834-1863)

Her second son was born after the death of his father and Jemima remarried, marrying Thomas Percifield in Monroe County, Indiana on December 24, 1834[1] and having seven known children together:

  1. Margaret Percifield (1835-1894)
  2. Samuel Percifield (1836-1899)
  3. Jemima Percifield (1838-)
  4. Lovina Percifield (1840-)
  5. Gilbert Percifleld (1841-)
  6. George Walter Percifield (1843-1902)
  7. Rebecca A. Percifield (1845-)

They took up residence in Washington Township, Indiana.[2]

Widowed a second time in 1857, Jemima remarried in 1860, marrying Ezekiel Joslin in Nashville County, Indiana on February 5, 1860.[3][4] They made their home in Johnson Township, Indiana.[5] Soon widowed again, Jemima moved in with her daughter, Lovina Hatton, and her family, residing in Van Buren Township, Indiana.[6][7]

Jemima Joslin passed away in Walesboro, Indiana[8] at the age of 71.

Percifield-19 and King-48645 appear to represent the same person because: they are the same person. The older profile should have the LNAB corrected to King and the merge completed, using the source citations & narrative from the newer profile. Thanks.

I believe her last name may have been King. Breedlove is her first married name, marrying William Samuel Breedlove in 1827.
