It appears he is usually referred to as Henry Perdue, while his son is "Henry Francis".

Born: Cochrane, Tip1811 Tiperary, Ireland

Aged 25, on 8 Jan 1839, Campbells Cross, Chinguacousy Twp, Peel Col, Upper Canada, he married, EUNICE ELIZABETH McCOLLUM (1811-1875), Publication of Banns[1][2]8 Jan 1839, Home District[3]

He appears in the 1837 Directory for Toronto, Chinqucousy (East of Hurontario Street), Con 3. lot 26[4]

William Perdue (28), born Ont., C of E, Irish origin, farmer. George Perdue (24), born Ont., C of E, Irish, farmer. Martha V Perdue (21), born Ont., C of E, Irish.

Death: 8 Jan 1891, Victoria, Fenlon, Ontario; 78 yrs 10 mo, Farmer, Episcopal, Cause: La Grippe and Result (1 year)[5]

Burial: Fenelon Falls Cemetery, Fenelon Falls Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.[6]

George M. Perdue, grandson of the subject (and son of Peter Turquard) in a letter to Wm Perkins Bull, 28 Aug 1936, from Fenlon Falls:
He wrote of Henry Pedue being born in Tipperary, near Crohan, Ireland in 1812. While he did not know the date of emigration, he did know he and five brothers came out about the same time, and settled in Chinguacousy. Henry married Eunice Ellen McCollum Jan 1879, and provides a list of children, birth date (approx.) and other details. He moved to Fenlon Township, ( lot 29, conc. 7), "about 50 years back" and named it "Crohan Farm".[7]
