John and Martha lived out their lives on Reedy Creek in Jefferson County, Georgia. John built a house on property west of his parents.
The burial place of Martha and John is unknown, but it is believed they were buried in the Russell Cemetery beside their daughter Judy Perdue Russell in Jefferson County, Georgia.
