Robert was a beneficiary in the will of his father in 1718:[2]
" I give and bequeath to my four sons namely Robert, Westly, Joseph and Jeremiah Perkins, to each of them one acre of upland and one acre of Marsh Ground at Fox Point so called, as may be ******* for a horse and colt, and a highway through my farm to and from the said land as they may have occasion, and my will is that neither of these my four sons shall sell off the said land given to them without giving their brothers first refusal of the same "
Robert and his wife quitclaim “to loving brother-in-law, Joseph Holland, land that was formerly the estate of our deceased father, William Douton, mariner” 25 Nov 1721.[4]
Robert might have remarried.
A later marriage between Robert Perkins and Elizabeth Brown was 19 Jul 1753 in Ipswich.[3] It’s not clear if this is the same Robert or the Robert baptized in 1728.
