William was probably born in 1722 in Henrico County, Virginia. He is said to be born just 18 years before his son William Harding Perkins was born in 1840. His parents were Constantine Perkins and his wife, Ann.[2]
Marriage and Family
He married Lucy Watkins about 1739 in Henrico County, Virginia. They had at least three children.
William married a second time to Susannah (Holland) Massie, widow of Thomas Massie. They married on February 23, 1756 in Henrico County, Virginia Colony.[5][6]
Death
In 1799, William Perkins was taxed on 357 acres in Buckingham County, Virginia. In 1800, the taxes are on his estate.[7][8]
