Biography

Moses Perkins, the son of Elisha Perkins and Dinah Sperry, was born September 16, 1747. On March 23, 1769 he married Mary Smith, the daughter of John Smith and Mary Cook.[1]

Mary (Smith) Perkins was a great grand granddaughter of Capt. Thomas Smith, immigrant ancestor of several participants in the FamilyTree DNA Project. She and Moses had fourteen children.
