Elijah was born on 29 Aug 1774 in Montague, Franklin county, Massachusetts.[1] He was the son of Joel Perkins and Mehitable Brooks.
Elijah Perkins married Patience Wood.
They were on the census in Luzerne, Washington county, New York in 1810[2]and Luzerne, Warren county, New York in 1820.[3] Warren county was split off from Washington county in 1813 so it is likely they were still in the same location despite being in different counties in 1810 and 1820.
