Sarah Perkins was baptized on 5 Sep 1742, in Ipswich in the Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1] She was the daughter of Jacob Perkins and Mary Dresser.
In 1757 she was named as a beneficiary in her fathers will:
Item; All the rest and remainder of my estate I give to Mary my now wife for her use and to dispose of among my children now at home with us, viz: Mehetebll, Unis and Sarah, according to her one discretion..."
