We've missed you. Your Ancestors have missed you. Are you still interested in participating on WikiTree? Please let me know what your intentions are. We would love to see you active again but understand if you are no longer interested.
Let me explain what will happen if you no longer wish to continue on WikiTree, all of your living profiles will be deleted for privacy reasons, all profiles meeting the 150/200 year rule will be opened up and orphaned so others may adopt them and your personal profile will be deleted. I understand how tough that will be after all the work you have put into building profiles. Is there someone you can transfer your profiles to? If yes, please contact me and I will send you information on how to do that.
Thank you for all of your past contributions and hopefully future contributions.
Hi Nikki, I hope all is going well and that you are enjoying WikiTree.
Please stop for a moment and READ the WikiTree help page on Sources. It explains what they are, why they are important, and how to affix them to profiles you create.
Sources must be included that support facts that are posted. If you enter a name and birth-date for example, you should include something like a birth record showing that name and date. If you post a marriage, then something like a supporting marriage record with those facts on it.
If you need any help you can contact me or any of the friendly Mentors, they are all happy to assist.
If you would like to help out in other areas, the opportunities can be found at Volunteers Needed.
If you havent found us already, WikiTree is active on many Social Sites. We also have a blog with news of WikiTree events and further ideas from WikiTree members.
If you have any questions, I can be contacted via my profile page.
Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Welcome to the family! Were really glad youre here.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
