There is no direct proof that she was a daughter of Quartermaster John; but there seems to be no other family to which she could have belonged, unless there is a possibility of her belonging to a Dover or Cape Porpoise branch of the Perkins family. Rev. Thomas Wells is known to have been living in Wells in Dec, 1669, but his marriage seems to have taken place in Ipswich in the next month.
