Mary Level Perry was born about 1799 in Virginia, United States of America. She was the daughter of Peter Perry and Lucinda Faulconer Perry. The American Revolution had ended and the country was undergoing recovery and reconstruction. There were no known battles fought in Orange County curing the Revolution but at least one hundred men were recruited as soldiers.
