Salome was born about 1794. Salome Perry ... She passed away 29 May 1882. ^[1]

In 1878 she lived in North Monmouth, Kennebec, Maine.

Research Notes

There seems to be no absolute verification that Salome belongs to the family of Zachariah Perry and Rachael Wing. Except to say, that she "fits" there. Does anyone have the illusive death record? or personal family records? a Bible?

C.P. Wing lists eight children of Zachariah Perry and Rachel Wing: John, Lona, Nancy, Betsey, Lydia, Eunice, Polly, and Zecharias. ^[2] Since the name Lona is never seen again, it is assumed that Lona is Salome. On the documents filed for pension from her husband's War of 1812 service, she is "Saloma Frost", which perhaps gets us a little closer to "Lona".

On the list of Wayne Vital Records for Zacheriah Perry & Rachael Perry, a person name LUCY is the 2nd listed of the first 5 children, with a birth date of Aug 20, 1794. The US Census 1860 says Salome Frost was born about 1794, so she fits with the person named Lucy. Again, with the 1812 pension documents, Saloma Frost is 84 years old on March 26, 1878 - pointing to 1794 birth year.

She was "Salome Perry of Wayne" when marriage intentions were registered in Wayne, Maine in 1816. Wayne, Maine is where the family of Zachariah Perry resided.

Update: (May 17, 2020). Enumerated on the 1880 US Census (at Winthrop, Maine) is "Liloomy Frost, age 86, Aunt" of [Eunice] Frances (Wing) House. Liloomy Frost most assuredly is Salome (Perry) Frost, widow of Richard Montgomery Frost, and sister of Eunice (Perry) Wing.
