Biography

Mary Perry was born December 10, 1702, the daughter of Samuel Perry and Esther Tabor of Sandwich, Massachusetts^{[1] [2]}. Her parents were married in 1689, and her mother was the daughter of Thomas Tabor of Dartmouth^[2]

On Aug. 4, 1726, Mary married John Freeman, a widower, the son of Edmund Freeman and Sarah Skiffe of Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts^[2], and their children included:

1. Seth, born Feb. 22, 1732 ; who married Experience Hatch, April 19, 1759^{[3] [2]}
2. James; who drowned Aug. 20, 1737, in the mill-pond in Sandwich as a young child^{[4] [2]}
3. Samuel, born Sept. 21, 1736^[5]; who married Abigail Dillingham, April 9, 1761; and then married Achsah Crocker, Jan 19, 1775, and third married Deborah, in Sept., 1803^[2]

Mary (Perry) Freeman died February 13, 1762, and is buried in the Old Town Cemetery in Sandwich^[6]
