Mr. and Mrs. George May, 712 West Walnut street, announce the marriage of their only daughter, Dorothy, to Elijah D. Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Perry, 320 West Walnut street. The wedding took place at Peru, Monday, August 22. The bride is an inactive member of the Sigma Phi Gamma sorority. Mr. Perry is connected with his father in business here. Mr. and Mrs. Perry will make their home in Kokomo on their return from a trip in northern Michigan.[6]

Married At Peru
Lige D. Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert B. Perry of Kokomo and a grandson of the late Elijah Perry of Windfall was married at Peru Monday to Miss Dorothy May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Louis E. May. The ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace M. A. Moore in the presence of a few intimate friends of the couple. They will make their; home in Peru where the bridegroom is employed as an automobile salesman. The bridegroom is well known in Tipton where he has many friends. He was formerly manager of the Dodge agency in Tipton operated by his father B. B. Perry of Kokomo, which was formerly located in the Gleason room, on Main street.[7]
