Dianne was born in 1946. She is the daughter of Merritt Perry and Wanda Kimmel. Dianne graduated from Caro High School in 1964. Attended Alma College, Alma, Michigan for a Bachelor's degree in Education. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich while teaching elementary school in Detroit. She received her Master's of Education, December 1972 with a major in Theoretical and Behavioral Foundations (Counseling). Dianne attended The University of Michigan from 1975 to 1981 receiving a Ph.D. in Counseling with a minor in Psychology. She continued to work at Detroit Public Schools as a Counselor Supervisor and worked as a therapist in private practice.
Dianne moved to Florida in 1989. Dianne taught at Florida Gulf Coast University, University of South Florida, Argosy and Webster Universities. Dianne retired from Manatee County Schools in 2013 as the Director of the Displaced Homemaker Program. [1]

John Fitzgerald McLellan is my second great grandfather. My grandfather was Charles McLellan married to Dorothy McLellan. I love working on the family tree. It's nice to see other families doing the same thing.
