I have a source that says Nathan Perry was disowned during a Quaker monthly meeting in 1783 for boarding a privateer vessel, does anyone have any more information? The source is linked below, and I'm also new to this so I'm not sure if I'm reading it right. List of abbreviations is on page 16 (or at least page 16 on this website), and information is on pages 69-70. Thank you!
Marnie, I debated this a few times before merging. I think the disconnect on the death date is due to there not being an actual stone but rather a place for the cemetery. I tried to scavenge as much info as I could to see if anyone knew exacts but nothing could be determined and research suggests the lower date due to ages. Has anyone tried to contact the local historical society to clear it up and how they found what was on the memorial plaque. There should be paperwork that might lead to a definitive source for the death date to be closer than +/- 30 years.

Perhaps a contact with someone from this place might direct in clearing it up, they list the lower date and may very well have the resource to support their findings. http://www.mehrapublishing.com/descendants-of-mary-chilton-wynslow/
Hope this helps !!
