Hannah, daughter of Seaborn Peters and Mary Unknown, was born on 15 Aug 1727 at Rockingham County, NH, and probably died at Concord, Rockingham County, NH.[1][2]
She and Benjamin FIFIELD, son of Ensign John FIFIELD and Mary WEBSTER, registered their intent to marry on 15 Aug 1747. Birth dates of their 12 children were recorded at Rumford (now Concord), New Hampshire.
Disputed Death
There is no record of Hannah's death in New Hampshire: Births, Deaths and Marriages, 1654-1969, but at least two histories say she died 8 Mar 1794. An article in The American Genealogist by Walter Lee Shepherd says that was her husband's death, not hers.
Obviously, it was a different Hannah Fifield whose will dated 27 Jun 1809 in Stratham mentioned daughters Fanny Fifield, Molly Veasey, Betty Morrill, and Nancy Rollins and sons Mark and Coker Fifield.
