Further to my last message: Elizabeth Simmons Simmons-2519 (mother of the Brooks sisters) was one of the several Elizabeths who had been merged into the profile for Hinksman-1 -- Elizabeth Hinksman Vaughan. See the history for Hinksman-1 to see the biographical information (for Simmons and others) that was added to that profile. Apparently due to the mergers, the change-history pages for the children now show "Elizabeth Vaughan" as the original mother. I couldn't tell for sure who the parents were actually supposed to be, and I couldn't tell where the dates on the profiles had come from.
Thanks for reviewing the proposed merges for the Grants. I have no information about this family. Several profiles for some apparently unrelated women named Elizabeth were merged a couple of years ago, resulting in some sets of invalid siblings. I delinked a lot of invalid family members, but I often couldn't tell what information was part of the original profiles and what was inserted by bad merges -- & I also can't see those ancestry.com references. I adopted the orphan profiles only to help fix a mess. I believe the profiles I proposed to merge were intended to represent the same people as the Grant profiles you manage. Sarah Brooks was in a sibling group including Brooks-1304 & Brooks-1300, which led me to Brooks-3927 (same siblings).
