He died 20 Jun 1961 at Wallaceton, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, at age 77. He was buried at Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton, Clearfield County, PA.

Blanch Viola Kanouff was born on 27 Aug 1880 at Boggs Township, Clearfield, Pennsylvania. She died on 2 Aug 1965 at Philipsburg, Centre, Pennsylvania, at age 84.

CLEARFIELD , Clearfield, PA, June 21, 1961

JACOB R. PETERS
      WALLACETON- Jacob R. Peters, 77, of Wallaceton died yesterday at 9:55 p.m. in the Philipsburg State Hospital.
      He was born at Woodland R.D. June 16, 1884, a son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Ross Peters. He had been retired for the past 12 years from the Harbison-Walker Refractories at Wallaceton.
      Surviving are his wife, the former Blanche Kanouff, three sons and two daughters: Joseph, Hyde; George, Wallaceton; Paul, Tonawanda, N.Y.; Mrs. Thelma Rowles, Wallaceton; and Mrs. Austin (Tressie) Lowe, Houtzdale R. D.
      Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister: Clyde and Earl of Woodland; and Mrs. Bessie Pyle of Mt. Union.
      A daughter, Leona, preceded him in death in 1942.
      Friends will be received at his home at Wallaceton from noon tomorrow until noon on Saturday. The body will then be moved to the Wallaceton Church of God where services will be held at 2 p.m. with theRev. William Smith officiating. Interment will be made in the Reedy Cemetery at Wallaceton.
