Hyde Man Is Injured At Work
Cyrus Peters, 23, of Hyde, was admitted to the Clearfield Hospital about 11:30 a.m. Friday morning, suffering compression fractures of the back, received while working at the Mal Daisher Garage here.
 
Mr. Peters, a mechanic, was working under a car when the jack broke, causing the car to fall on him.
 
His condition at the hospital today is listed as "satisfactory."

CYRUS C. PETERS
WOODLAND - Cyrus Calvin Peters, 42, of Woodland R. D., died in the Clearfield Hospital Friday, May 19.
 
He was born at Clearfield March 23, 1925, the son of Mrs. Venna B. Peters and the late Clyde S. Peters. He was a veteran of World War II.
 
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Marie (Sicks) Peters of Woodland; a son, Kevin Shawn; a daughter, Margo Dawn; and a foster son, Jerry Manahan.
 
He also leaves three sisters and two brothers:
 
Mrs. Raymond (Beatrice) Liddick, Denver, Colo; Mrs. Clifford (Leora) Maines, Coalport; Mrs. Wade (Marie) Schickling, Clearfield; Clyde, Buffalo, N. Y.; and Coretez, Mineral Springs.
 
Funeral services will be from the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Monday with the Rev. James L. Snyder in charge. Burial will be made in the Bradford Cemetery.
 
Friends may call in the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
