Biography

Charles was born in 1911. He is the son of Julius Peters and Alice Mayhew. He attended Southland Technichal Colleg and prior to enlisting Charles worked as a storeman for Wright Stevens and Co., Invercargill.[1] Charles married Gwendolyn Daydon in 1940. He served in the air force in World War II and died before the end of the war, in 1943, aged 31 years old. [2] He died of natural causes in Palmerston North Hospital and is buried in Palmerston North, New Zealand.[3]
