Just thinking back to Oct 2014 when I joined WikiTree. I stared at that 'add your comment here' screen, put in this and that and changed it again - what did they want?!
What we are seeking is a statement that you "want to work with us", "find connections and share yours" --
however it goes, we just want to make sure we get it right in confirming a new member, since many people visit WikiTree to do their own research but not to collaborate.
We'd love to have you join us - I hope you are one of the visitors who wants to contribute:)
I see that you are looking for information on your family. If you are just looking you don't need to Volunteer. You will find the People Search under FIND in the menus, upper right of this page. You can also ask questions in the G2G forum.
If you meant to Volunteer to help grow this wonderful collaborative Tree, please leave a note to that effect. We would love to have you!
