Nina Peters, born Niesje Peters, emigrated from the Netherlands in 1908 with his parents, brothers and sisters to the USA. The family arrived with the SS Statendam in New York at Ellis Island May 19, 1908 with destination Iowa, Rock Valley[1]
Nina Peters married March 9, 1927 in Newkirk, Sioux County, Iowa, USA with Arthur Rensink. In 1930 Arthur Rensink, his wife Nina and their daughter Harriet lived in Holland, Sioux County, Iowa[2] and in 1940 the family Rensink Peters (Arthur, Nina, daughter Harriet and son Glenn) lived in Capel Township, Sioux County, Iowa[3]
She is buried at the Newkirk Cemetery, Newkirk, Sioux County, Iowa[4].
Nina Rensink Mrs. Nina Rensink, 79, Sheldon, died Thursday at her home after sudden illness. Services were Monday at the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Louis Benes and the Rev. William Haak officiated. Burial was in the Newkirk Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. Mrs. Rensink, the former Nina Peters, was born May 1, 1905 in the Netherlands. She came to the United States in 1908. She married Arthur Rensink March 9, 1927 in Newkirk. He died in 1961. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Harriet) Bonnema, Pella; a son Glenn Rensink, Newkirk; a sister, Mrs. John (Anna) Van Beek, Sheldon; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren
