(The Flewellings are of Welch origin. Adam Flewelling was one of three brothers who all resided in the Parish of Greenwich. The other two brothers were Caleb and Thomas. The later was married three times and survived all his wives. The four lie buried side by side and the inscription on their four tombstones are as follows: )

- Hannah first w/o Thomas Flewelling d. 7 Dec 1820 ae 33 yrs
