Beneath the adult Tortoises are the baby Slowsky twins, Liddyll, and Iddyll, holding the words "Wonderful WikiTreer" between them, and behind the phrase, superimposed upon the trophy, is the WikiTree DNA globe icon. Hi Linda, I am wondering what interest you have in John Goudge. I am the great grandson of John and my grandmother was Elizabeth Jane Goudge. Next month I am off to Roche Cornwall to see the birthplace of the Goudges, however John was born in St Eath. I would be interested to make contact with you. I currently live in Cairns.

Hi Linda,

I am chasing some information of the service in WW1 for Leslie William Roney. He would have been a nephew of Sara Alice Obrien (Roney) whom is my great grandmother.

Hope to hear from you

Hi Linda,

we are 8th cousins once removed, as descendants of Edward Richards senior. My mother is a Kitchen.

There are also marital connections to my great-aunt Madge Tweed through the Wedemeyer and Kinbacher families.

Tully-1067

Hello Linda - I've been working on TULLY from Woodford and Ballinakill. I'm interested in building up on Francis Charles 'Doc' Tully and his brother Patrick Tully.

Joseph is one of the sons of Patrick and Sarah, who I have created profiles for. Could we add him / join him to his parents? Mother - Sarah (Durack) Tully - Durack-46 Father - Patrick Tully - Tully-1014

'Doc' Tully is well known for the Woodford Evictions and the Land Wars, 1880s. Patrick was involved in the Eureka Stockade and with his wife, was head of a family of large Station owners in NSW and Qld to this day.

There seem to be a lot of Family Trees for this family on the www, but I'm not a member of any of the sites so I'm doing this the hard way. Until today I only had Joseph's initials J.M., so I was pretty happy to see your Joseph Michael.

My tree - Flood married Ann Tully in Woodford / Ballinakill and Ann and most of their children came to Australia around the time of the Great Famine. -----

Joseph has been added to his parents. I am curious where you got the death of Sarah (Durack) Tully from. I have her death as 12th November 1922 and her parents are listed as Michael Durack & Bridget Bush. Didn't want to change it without your permission.
Hello Linda. Thanks for replying.  :-)

I think 'Bridget (Dillon) Tully' is a different Bridget to Bridget Clara Tully. Tully-1206 I copied out the data from NSW and Qld BDM onto her profile page.

I read something y'day about the Duracks. I think it was on a 'blog' by/about Mary Durack author of 'Grass Castles'. . There were two Durack families / clans that came out at about the same time. I started with Tully-1014 PATRICK TULLY and his wife, Sarah DURACK. Patrick came out from Woodford Co Galway, went to NSW, Ballarat ( Eureka Stockade ), NSW farming, Qld sheep & cattle stations.

I just read about Patrick Durack in wikipedia. There have been other marriages between Duracks and Tully's before they left Ireland and then again in Australia.

I hope I've got my entries correct.

Hello Linda. Amy Clarice Baird Walkden (deceased) was my grandmother. She was born on 31 October 1890. Her sister Amy Pierse Walkden was born in 1887, and died a few weeks after Amy Clarice was born, but before AmyC's birth was registered, hence the second Amy, the newborn, taking over her sister's name.

I have all the family details on Amy. She married John Hunter Dinning in 1916. My mother Joan Mary was born on 15 Sept 1918. Joan married Ronald Butler on 7 September 1946, and I was born on 18 Nov 1947

Hullo Linda, pleased be advised that you have made incorrect name changes to George Illidge Heilbronn. Your changes do not agree with my family records nor the official sources that are included in the biography which always refer to him as 'George Illidge Heilbronn' not 'George Heilbronn' and not the spelling Illedge!
posted by Ro Hull
Hi Linda, we seem to have a distant connection through the Heilbronn and Flack side of the family.

Thanks for all of your contributions, but please read through https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Find_A_Grave

When you leave https://www.findagrave.com in the source citation with no memorial number it creates an error. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Aiken-533 is one example.

Find a Grave, database and images (: accessed 08 February 2021), memorial page for Jessie Guthrie Aitken Kropp (1890–8 May 1936), Find A Grave: Memorial #135092353, citing Southport General Cemetery, Southport, Gold Coast City, Queensland, Australia ; Maintained by KBStewart (contributor 47014320) . Would be the correct citation.

Hi Rob,

Please add on anything you wish to. The profile should be open. I can't find who she is as no profile come up under that name?

Hey, Linda .. back on the 24th May 2019 I left a message on the profile of Bridget Catherine (Unknown) Cummins to the effect that her Last Name At Birth should be changed to Connolly due to evidence found that it was so.

If you would, please make this change as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Hi Linda,

Yes you can change the date of death for Henrick. His name in Denmark was Heinrik Flindt. He changed it when he emigrated to Flint. His wife was indeed of Irish origin. My Grandfather (Heinrik's grandson) has told the story all of his life that Mary was the aunt of Errol Flynn, and that Errol lived with them for a while before he went to New Guinea, taking a fobwatch that belonged to Henrick with him which is seen in some photos of him. I do not know how true this is but my mother swears that he was telling the truth. Other researchers in the family further from the centre of this story refute this claim. I would love to find out if it were true...thank you for picking up these mistakes. Debby

Linda hope you can clean up the Ann Egan duplication

The birth Certificate does list Ann as having a sibling as Ann with no age at time of birth which may be a clerical error

Linda you have been working hard on my family tree. You have probably added more ancestors than I have.

Thanks very much. Mark Woodhead

Hi Linda, just a quick note on how ref tags work for sourcing. You don't need to use ref tags below the Sources heading, you can just start them with an asterisk. Ref tags are for sourcing within the biography and they only show up below the Sources heading if the references tag is left there so make sure not to delete it. For more info see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources

Good luck on the Sourcathon.

Kind regards, Paula

Thanks Linda for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Add the project tag to your Following list to keep up to date on any activity

Any questions let me know

I am searching for other Danish relatives of Maren Andersen, born 2-3-1849, in Tingsted, Denmark, who married Peder Pedersen born on 25th December, 1850. They married in Tingsted, Maribo, Denmark on 15th March 1872. And left with a Hans Christian Ludvig Pedersen on the Humbolt heading for Queensland, Australia in 1872.
Thank you, Linda, for volunteering to help us grow our worldwide tree by adding your branches. I hope your experience as a member of the WikiTree community will be very pleasant and productive.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger our global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

If you're interested in old photos, we have a weekly photo contest.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree! :)
