Biography

Priscilla Peterson was born in 1713 at Duxbury, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay; the daughter of Isaac Peterson and his wife Mary (Hobart) Peterson.[1]

In 1738 Priscilla married Eliphaz Weston, the son of John Weston and his wife Deborah Delano.[2]He was a descendant of John Alden of the Mayflower. Eliphaz was a mariner who died on March 18, 1762 when he drowned in Duxbury Bay during a snow storm; aged 53 years. His son Joshua also drowned at this time.

Priscilla (Peterson) Weston died at Duxbury on September 22, 1778; age 64 years.[1]She was buried with her husband Eliphas Weston in Myles Standish Burying Ground, Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts. [3]

  6. Joshua b. 1748, d. 18 Mar 1762 drowned with his father in a snow storm on Duxbury Bay.[2]
  7. Timothy b. 1749.[2]
  8. Simeon bap. May 1753.[8]

Probate

Priscilla Weston, of Duxbury, widow, died intestate and on 7 December 1778, Warren Weston was granted the administration of her estate.[9]

Her inventory was recorded on 29 January 1779.[10]

In 1779, her estate was set out to her children, Warren Weston (eldest son), Eliphas Weston, Ezra Weston, Arunah Weston, and Timothy Weston.[11]
