Biography
Alexander was born in 1859 in Colborne, Ontario. In 1884-1885 he lived in Strathroy, Ontario (near London). He was a barrister. He married Sarah Lucy Willoughby in Colborne in 1885. In 1891 (probably 1886-1891) they were in Chicago, Illinois. They lived in Toronto at least 1893-1911; in 1996 he worked with his brother Martin (the M.H. Peterson Company, apple exporters). They had five children. From 1912 they lived in Portland, Oregon. Sarah Lucy died there in 1921 and he in 1927. They were buried in Lincoln Memorial Park.
