Newton Edmond "Eddie" Peterson, 91, of Midland, Texas, passed away on May 5, 2016. Eddie was born on January 31, 1925, in Casper, Wyoming to Henry Jasper Peterson and Ruth Dyer Peterson. Eddie was inducted into the Navy on May 7, 1943 and married Rebecca "Billie" West on May 11, 1943. ^[1]

Rebecca "Billie" West Peterson, 90, of Midland, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2016. Billie was born on March 3, 1926 in Keltys, Texas to Willie Somersal West and Fara Coward West. She met and later married Newton E. "Eddie" Peterson in Texas City, Texas on May 11, 1943. They had two children, Robert "Rob" Keith Peterson and Rebecca "Becke" Peterson Willis. Billie and Eddie lived many years in Rockdale, Texas - ^[2]
