Abigail was born in 1706. She is the daughter of John Pettibone and Mary Bissell.
When Abigail Pettibone, younger sister of Sarah Pettibone, married David Phelps, she married the younger half brother of Sarah’s husband Amos Phelps. David thus shared the family legends and boyhood experiences of Amos, who was seven years older than he.
Abigail died on 16 October 1787 and was buried in Bolton, Tolland County, Connecticut, United States.[1]
