"In the name (of) God. Amen.

"I, Ellen G. Peyton of the County of Henry, and State of Virginia, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament as follows:

"First, I give all of my real estate situate and being on Broad Street in the town of Martinsville, County of Henry and State of Virginia, to my beloved husband Wythe M. Peyton for and during his life, from and after the death of my said husband Wythe M. Peyton, I give and devise said real estate to my daughter Loula M. Peyton in fee simple.

"Second, all the rest of my estate both real and personal, and whatsoever description and wheresoever situate and being I give and devise to my beloved husband Wythe M. Peyton in fee simple. I appoint my beloved husband Wythe M. Peyton, Executor of this my last will and testament, and it is my wish and desire that he shall not be required to give bond and security as some executor.
