Mary Etta Peyton was born 01 Sep 1854. ^[1] She married Albert Henson Carter. She passed away 06 February 1906 in USA. She was interred in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock, Cabell County, West Virginia. ^[1]

Mary was born on 9 January 1854 in Cabell County, West Virginia, USA. She was the daughter of Harrison Peyton and Elizabeth J. Moab.^[2]

When Mary was 20 she married Albert Henson Carter on 23 January 1875 in Cabell County, West Virginia. The couple had 9 children: Lowell Carter, Tiny Belle Carter, Harrison D. Carter, Walter T. Carter, Fred Carter, Hal Evert Carter, Walter Thomas Carter, Lowell Carter and Audry Carter.^[4]
