Biography

Sarah (Phelps) Todd was a Maryland colonist.

Origin

Sarah was married to Lancelot Todd by 1677 and was the daughter of Thomas Phelps. Her marriage is proved by a probate record of that year stating William Ferguson was named the administrator of the estate of Thomas Phelps, but the bond passed to Lancelot Todd who married the only daughter of Thomas Phelps.^[1]

Note-I know findagrave isn't usually a good source but in this case it is as it lists the court cases which prove that Lancelot Todd married Sarah Phelps who was the daughter of Thomas Phelps & Elinor.
