It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ephraim by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.

Phelps-258 and Phelps-77 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same name, birth, and death years, but Phelps-258 is assigned with the wrong parents and birth place. The only recognizable source attached, The Phelps Family of America, says he was the son of Samuel Phelps (bef.1621-1669).
