Myrtle Philbrick was born 14 October 1874,in Linn Co. Iowa.She was living in 1892 in Yale,Gutherie Co.,IowaAccording to Orville's Grandson Tom Philbrick,Myrtle seems to have just disappeared,"the family assumed that she died in a Chicago theator fire(Iraoquis Theater)sometime in the teens.

She married Charles Bueford Pierce (son of Luman G.Pierce and Alta Francis)on 17 February 1892 in Yale,Gutherie Co.,Iowa.The ceremony was at the Windser Hotel.

She divorced from Charles Bueford Pierce on 9 October 1919 in Iowa,Charles Bueford Pierce was born about 1870 in Iowa.

He was living in 1892 in Yale,Gutherie Co.Iowa.He was a farmer when married to Myrtle.Later he had charge of the telephone centeal in Yale.
