Biography

From History of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:

Of these, Joseph, who was a native of Chester county, came to this county and took up 360 acres of land, where he remained until his death. He followed farming all his life, and was for many years a justice of the peace.
Obediah, was born Feb. 12, 1782, in the present town of New Brunswick, N. J., and married Sarah, daughter of Squire Joseph Phillips.
