b. 1607, Bideford, Devonshire, emigrated to New England c. 1630, age 23 or 1660, age 53. He m. Elizabeth Skipper when he was 45. He was a butcher. He d. 8 Feb 1675 at Boston, killed by Indians recorded Aug 2 1675.
He was almost certainly not the son of Sir John Phillips, 1st Baronet Philipps, of Picton Castle, Pembrokeshire and his first wife Dame Ann Perrott. Along with his birth place and surname spelling he's cited as 'Zachariah Phillips, butcher', which is a pretty lowly profession for the son of a baronet, 2x High Sheriff and Member of Parliament .[1]
I have not consulted Anderson's Great Migration but usually Anderson asserts parents if they are known - I've disconnected his parents until they are cited. The orginal bio has him emigrating twice 1630 and 1660 - put both in - if he's in PGM he emigrated c. 1630.
To confuse matters further, John Phillips from Warwickshire, not Devon, was his father, and that appears wrong to me too.
